Review by hotel critic
During my recent escape to Bhakti Kutir, I found a unique blend of tranquility and nature, perfect for those pursuing a peaceful experience. The Ayurvedic Spa, helmed by Dr Vijay Nambiar, offered an array of treatments that embraced the essence of wellness. I particularly enjoyed a workshop followed by practice sessions, which added to the authentic vibe of the place. Nestled within the jungle, the surroundings are a delight. Morning awakenings to the calls of nature provided a refreshing change from my typically urban life back in Edinburgh. The yoga classes were spacious and invigorating, while the dedicated patio area became a sanctuary for relaxation. The dining experience featured nourishing vegan dishes that complemented the serene atmosphere. Nutrient-rich foods were complemented by a slow, laid-back service typical of the region. Bhakti Kutir may not boast lavish amenities, but its inviting spirit and commitment to wellness make it an ideal choice for those seeking connection with nature and themselves.
